Abstract:On the basis of analysing the coordinative development mechanism among urbanization, industrialization and agricultural modernization, through the establishment of the coordinative development of the comprehensive evaluation index system, the paper use complex system theory to construct the coordinative development model to quantitatively calculate coordinative development level among urbanization, industrialization and agricultural modernization in Jiangxi, Hunan, Hubei and Henan from 2006 to 2010. The results show that: they are on the whole in a rising trend, and 2010 at intermediate coordinative level; in Jiangxi, Hunan and Henan, the main driving force of the coordinated development comes from industrialization and urbanization, and the agricultural modernization is the limiting factor; but in Hubei, industrialization and agricultural modernization are driving factors, and urbanization is the limiting factor; industrialized rate is the main indicator to affect the coordinative development in Jiangxi, the main indicator to affect the coordinative development in Hunan and Hubei is the agricultural labor productivity, and the tertiary industry labor productivity is the main indicator to affect the coordinative development in Henan. Finally, the countermeasures and suggestions to promote the coordinate development of four provinces in central China urbanization, industrialization and agricultural modernization are proposed
