Analysis of Green Credit Legal System to Boost Development of Low-carbon Agriculture——Based on Financial Institutions to Practice Equator Principles

  • Low-carbon agriculture is a new agricultural production mode in dealing with global climate change. The green credit legal system, which should be based on the Equator Principles, is the inner dynamics to develop the low-carbon agriculture. However, there are still many missing in the legal environment of China's financial institutions to practice the Equator Principles and boost the development of low-carbon agriculture, fundamentally impeding the international development of low-carbon agriculture. In combination with the multivariate regression analysis and comparative analysis, dissect the four steps of opening, developing, changing and concluding of the Equator Principles, clarifying that the green credit legal system, which can promote the development of low-carbon agriculture, must be based on the Equator Principles. The Equator Principles has mutually beneficial and win-win effect in the development of financial institutions and the low-carbon agriculture. Analyze the challenges in the progress of the financial institutions to boost the development of low-carbon agriculture. From the financial institutions in response to sexual revolution, discuss the construction of the green credit legal system on the basis of low-carbon agriculture.
