Temporal and Spatial Distribution of Fujian Province’s Agricultural Products Based on Location Quotient and Developing Suggestions

  • This paper uses the location quotient model and the theory of comparative advantage index to determinate the advantage of agricultural products from the main agricultural products in Fujian Province. It combines with more accurate data analysis to discuss the characteristics of Fujian’s advantaging agricultural products which distribute the three development stages such as accelerated growth stage, stable high production stage and stable stage, and the layout of regional focus features in space is the blue coastal area, the southeast yields and the northwest green agriculture industry area. Finally, it combines with the problems which exist in the process of products of agricultural products of Fujian Province industry development, such as the primary product development ways, the imperfect processing technology and industry chain. The paper suggests using innovative elements in the process of development of products of agricultural products to increase the added value of agriculture, building a complete industrial chain to realize the agricultural industrialization and then forming region agglomeration benefits; introducing new production modes in order to realize diversified agriculture pattern; making full use of the advantages of economic resources to expand the multifunctional agriculture.
