China’s Food Security and Farmland Protection Issues under Tight Constraints of Resources

Abstract
The safety of our foods are affected by varieties of resources and environmental factors, such as the increasing of population, reduction of arable land, deterioration of soil, pollution of environment, shortage of water resources, etc. Among them, the problems of farmland amount, quality and ecology are exceedingly outstanding. In this article, I analyze the predicament that we face in the process of carrying out of the strategy of safety of food, discuss how to control the agricultural area-source pollution and improve the conditions for agricultural production, and also come out with the theory that the policy of our foods safety must be conformed to the situation in our country, the government should put the revolution of agricultural science and technology into effect, and exercise the most stringent protection system of cultivated land.
