Discussion on China’s Basic Public Service Equalization Issues under Urban and Rural Integration

Equalization of basic public services in China is an important practical problem faced by the urban- rural integration. In this paper, based on define the connotation of urban and rural basic public service equalization, we summarizes and analyzes the existence of fixed asset investment, compulsory education, and health and medical development is not balanced. Overcome these difficulties, we need to clear the leading role of government in the provision of basic public goods, and need to develop basic public services to meet rural needs. Government's economic strength, the integration of urban and rural markets and reasonable system design are key factors in urban and rural basic public service equalization
