Analysis on Operation Mechanism,Effects and Countermeasures of Pig Price Control Policy in China

This paper made an analysis on our pig price control policy from the aspects of its background, subject and object, tools, constraint condition and effects. The results show that its total effect was relatively good. It was good for promoting mass breeding and increasing farmers' income, however, its effects on stabilizing price and market supply was not very successful. Some measures should be taken, like strengthening legislation of the pig price control policies, perfecting the work of monitoring statistics, accelerating the circulation system construction and promoting scientific and technological innovation of pig industry, etc
