Cause of Employment Structural Deviation and Paths of Accelerating Urbanization in Three Gorges Reservoir Area

Based on the data of 1992 to 2009, this paper analyzed the employment structural deviation in Three Gorges reservoir area. It found that the problem is becoming serious, which impacts on the agricultural adjustment and modernization, and the rural district of Three Gorges reservoir area would be remain in a permanent state of poverty. At the aspects of the system, policies, the quality of population, this paper researches on the cause of the problem. It proposes policy suggestions for accelerating the urbanization by optimizing urban system, planning the infrastructure construction as a whole, and breaking for a new developing system and financing methods.
