Impact of Meteorological Disasters on Agriculture of Southwest China and Its Adaptive Countermeasures

The meteorological disasters of Southwest China have the traits of regional, chain, and sudden and severe damage. The agriculture of Southwest China has the extremely vulnerable to meteorological disasters, the dominant status of extensive utilization of agricultural resources, as well as agriculture and the countryside prone to meteorological disasters make the agriculture of Southwest China very fragile and the endanger lives and wealth of the peasants. Finally, we proposed strengthening the ecological protection and meteorological disasters mitigation system, accelerating the construction of socialist countryside, the industrialization of the agriculture and the construction of rural meteorological disasters systems engineering adaptive countermeasures.
