Abstract:
Land transfer and socialized agricultural service are the fundamental approaches to scale of management and services. It is of great significance to study the relationship between them for agricultural supply-side structural reform, agricultural modernization development, and rural revitalization. Based on the data from the second “national survey of new agricultural management entities’ development index”, this paper studies the influences of land transfer and transfer of different characteristics of land on the acquisition of socialized agricultural services for ordinary farmers, specialized households and family farms using the negative binomial regression model. Results show that simple land transfer has no significant impact on the acquisition of socialized agricultural services for different kinds of farmers. However, if land transfer is conducive to large-scale management and agricultural infrastructure is better, it can significantly promote the acquisition of socialized agricultural services. Moreover, the stronger the management ability of farmers, the higher the application degree of different types of socialized agricultural services. Therefore, policy recommendations suggest that the government should promote more efficient land transfer to achieve the moderate scale of agricultural management, strengthen the supply of socialized agricultural services, improve the efficiency of management, strengthen the training of managers, and enhance their ability of support small farms.
