Abstract: The paper briefly introduces the agricultural economy in Hangzhou, including construction of agricultural demonstration area and quality supervision of agricultural products. By looking at the whole industry chain, from the agricultural production to products processing, from product packaging to circulation of products, this paper analyzes the basic status of agricultural modernization in Hangzhou. It's proposed that the agriculture industry in Hangzhou should be upgraded to achieve sustainable development by optimizing industrial layout, making good use of modern management methods, upgrading modern science and technology, emphasizing human resource development, and further establishing safeguard mechanism and public service system, thus realizing the win-win situation for both customers and agricultural product providers.
