Abstract:
Modern agriculture into the city”, namely, developing city modern agriculture. Urban agriculture covers large, medium-sized and small cities and small towns as well as urban agglomeration areas. The findings show that only when the comprehensive utility of agricultural output per town’s land is equal to or greater than that of the non-agricultural industries, dose city farming take play. Urban agriculture owns such characteristics as marketability, high profitability, public goods and vulnerability. Ecological livable urbanization, peasants' urbanization and urban civilization need rely on city agriculture. The basic conditions of “modern agriculture into town” include national food security, agricultural scientific and technological progress and narrowing the industrial and agricultural nap. The city government should scientifically plan for the usage of urban agriculture and agricultural land, adopt the differentiate policy towards urban agricultural land and industrial land, modify the urban planning law and work out other relevant laws and regulations to urban agriculture as soon as possible.
