Abstract: Dabie Mountain District is an extremely poor area supported by government. And it plays an important part in the local economy, because of its rich natural resource and agricultural industry. The transforming and upgrading of its agricultural industry is significant to promote the modernization of local agriculture and regional development. Based on the field investigate of agricultural specialty industry such as tea, mountain vegetable, traditional Chinese medicine, bamboo, chestnut and sericulture, this paper studies the current problems from the perspective of technology, products, talents, and industry. Connecting the new challenge of agricultural specialty industry, it proposes a possible solution of “clarifying one aim, creating two mechanism, building three systems, promote four techniques”.
