Abstract: This article reviews the strengths of the development of konjac industry in the resources, the location, the industrial base and the support of science and technology in Yunnan Province. The weaknesses of the development of konjac industry in the infrastructure, the talent and the capital were to point out. The challenge of domestic and foreign markets and the opportunities of policy support were tried to analyses. Some countermeasures for the development of konjac industry in Yunnan Province such as strengthening the macroscopical and harmonious guidance, the talent team construction, the financial support and the innovation of science and technology were be put forward. It has important significance for the efficient and sustainable development of konjac industry with the characteristic of Yunnan plateau agriculture.
