Abstract: Agricultural production affects carbon emissions in two ways: firstly, some agricultural production patterns are “high carbon”, which accelerate the process of global warming. Secondly, global climate change will in reverse affect the agricultural production process. Low-carbon economy is new pattern and concept for China’s agricultural development in future. China's agricultural industry chain wills gradually “low carbon” as results of this pattern. Prior areas for future agricultural technology are pointed out: farming techniques with resources and energy saving, optimization use of agricultural chemicals, agricultural biotechnology and agricultural waste utilization technology etc. Farmer cooperatives will further deepen on its ways. Spaces are still remained in the transition of agricultural products processing and logistics to low-carbon development.
