数字经济对农业生态效率的影响研究:内在机理与实证检验

The impact of the digital economy on agricultural ecological efficiency: internal mechanisms and empirical evidence

  • 摘要: 数字经济赋能农业生态效率,是提升农业新质生产力的重要路径。本文基于中国30个省份(除西藏及港澳台地区)2010-2022年面板数据,运用动态面板模型和中介效应分析,实证探讨数字经济对农业生态效率的影响及其作用机制。结果表明,数字经济对农业生态效率具有显著正向影响,且通过多种稳健性检验验证;土地规模经营效率和土地集约经营效率在数字经济提升农业生态效率的过程中发挥显著正向中介作用,表明数字经济通过促进这两类土地经营效率改善农业生态效能;异质性分析显示,数字经济对中西部地区农业生态效率的促进作用强于东部。基于此,建议政府加快发展数字经济,提升土地规模与集约经营效率,同时加强对东北及中西部地区数字经济发展的支持,推动农业生态效率的整体提升。

     

    Abstract: Enhancing agricultural ecological efficiency through the digital economy is a key pathway to advance new quality productivity in agriculture. Based on panel data from 30 provinces in China (excluding Xizang, Hong Kong, Macao, and Taiwan) from 2010 to 2022, this study employs a dynamic panel model and mediation effect analysis to empirically examine the impact of the digital economy on agricultural ecological efficiency and its underlying mechanisms. The results show that the digital economy exerts a significant positive effect on agricultural ecological efficiency, a finding that is confirmed through multiple robustness checks. Moreover, land scale management efficiency and land intensive management efficiency play significant positive mediating roles in this relationship, indicating that improvements in these two dimensions of land management contribute to the positive impact of the digital economy on agricultural ecological performance. The heterogeneity analysis further reveals that the digital economy has a stronger effect on agricultural ecological efficiency in the central and western regions compared to the eastern regions. Based on these findings, it is recommended that the government accelerate the development of the digital economy, enhance both land scale and intensive management efficiency, and increase support for digital economy development in the northeast and central-western regions to promote overall improvements in agricultural ecological efficiency.
