Abstract:
The development of agricultural socialized service corresponds to the current requirements for transforming rural industrial dynamics, making it an accelerator for rural industry revitalization. Examining the factors and mechanisms that influence rural industry revitalization is of significant importance in overcoming the obstacles to rural economic development and establishing a robust rural industry management system. This study utilizes the division of labor theory and employs fixed effects regression models and mediation effect models to empirically test the overall impact, indirect mechanisms, and heterogeneous effects of agricultural socialized service in promoting rural industry revitalization. The analysis is based on panel data from China's provincial level, covering the period from 2010 to 2020. The research findings indicate that the level of rural industry revitalization in China shows a steady upward trend during the study period, the level of rural industrial revitalization in the eastern region is consistently higher than that in the central and western region, and the gap between the overall levels of each region is constantly narrowing. Furthermore, the analysis reveals that higher levels of agricultural socialized service have a stronger promoting effect on rural industry revitalization. Technological progress and capital accumulation play a positive role in this process, with capital accumulation exhibiting the most significant mediating effect. Additionally, the impact of agricultural socialized service on different dimensions of rural industry revitalization varies across regions. Based on these research results, this paper proposes corresponding strategic recommendations from four perspectives: diversifying agricultural socialized service, establishing a multi-dimensional input pattern, guiding the production of green industrialization, and improving the internal operational mechanisms of service organizations. These recommendations aim to provide clarity on the future development direction of agricultural socialized service and accelerate the process of rural industry revitalization.
