Abstract:
Aiming at the imperfection of current town’s regional spatial planning technologies, such as the extensive useof land, the unreasonable layout of residents and industries and the widening gap between rural and urban areas, thispaper used the conducted town and regional spatial planning technologies to investigate the key technology for regionalspatial planning in hill and mountain regions in Southwest China. This research was based on the review of rural planning, development and construction at home and abroad, and the purpose of scientific town regional spatial planning, optimizing land resources allocation, promoting planning urban and rural development as a whole and improving the living quality of villagers. By synthesizing several technique systems, such as spatial planning information, evaluation of development and construction, programming and distribution and monitoring plus evaluation, this study selected a number of demonstration areas in Chongqing to demonstrate these technologies. Meanwhile, four village and town developing models were developed,named as “specialty agriculture and rural tourism”,“village to the community and high-end pension”,“industry-driven and home business”and“characteristic industry and alpine poverty alleviation”. The ultimate goal of this study was to promot the perfection, popularization and application of town’s regional spatial planning technology system.
