      食品加工业是农产品加工业中的重要组成部分,是现代农业的关键环节。本文基于2004—2016年东北三省的面板数据,利用随机效应模型,分析东北食品加工业经济绩效,探讨其影响因素。结果表明,东北食品加工业绩效整体上呈现先上升后下降的趋势,其中辽宁省食品加工业绩效波动幅度最大,黑龙江省次之,吉林省较小。人均GDP总量、地区农林牧渔总产值和地区劳动力资源与食品加工业经济绩效呈显著正相关影响,地区居民消费水平和进出口总额对食品加工业呈显著负相关影响。研究表明,区域经济形势和农业经济发展可以推动东北食品加工业的发展,而由于食品加工业本身在产品竞争力等方面的不足,本区域消费水平和进出口的发展却带来了相反的作用。因此,应该提高食品加工企业的硬实力和软实力,相关部门需制定相应政策引导东北地区转变食品加工业发展方式,提高食品加工业科技支撑能力,增强其产品竞争力,从而保障食品加工业健康可持续发展。

      Food processing is an important part and a key link of the modern agricultural industry. Based on a panel data of the three northeast provinces of China from 2004 to 2016, this paper builds a random effect model to analyze the economic performance of food processing industry in northeast China and explore its influencing factors. Results show that the food processing industry performance in northeast China showed a trend of inverted “U” curve shape with provincial differences: the largest fluctuation range observed in Liaoning Province, followed by Heilongjiang Province and Jilin Province. Furthermore, the gross per capita GDP, the gross output value of agriculture, forestry, animal husbandry and fishery, and the regional labor resources had significant positive correlations with the economic performance of food processing industry. While the consumption level of residents and the total import and export amount had a significant negative correlation with the food processing industry. The above results indicate that the regional economic situation and the development of agricultural economy can promote the development of food processing industry in northeast China. However, due to the inadequacy of food processing industry itself in some aspects such as product competitiveness, the development of consumption level, and the trade of import and export has opposite effects in this region. Therefore, to ensure the healthy and sustainable development of food processing industry, this paper provides the following suggestions: 1) to improve the hard and soft strength of food processing enterprises; 2) to formulate and perfect the policies that guide the food processing industry to change the development mode in northeast China; and 3) to strengthen the scientific and technological support ability of food processing industry to increase product competitiveness.
